- Bolt made of Mil-Spec Carpenter 158 steel, shot peened, high-pressure tested, and magnetic particle inspected.
- Gas key machined from bar stock, chrome lined and phosphate coated, secured with Grade 8 fasteners and staked per Mil-Spec; carrier phosphate outside and chrome lined inside.
- Packed dry; grey dusty appearance that darkens with application of lubricant.
