The M90 is an AK-pattern rifle originally developed for the Yugoslav People's Army and intended to replace the M70 series of service rifles and is uniquely chambered in 5.56x45mm. Once a rare firearm due to the collapse of Yugoslavia partway through the rifle's production, the M90 has been reproduced for the commercial market and is now readily available as a recreational or collector's firearm. Other iconic features include the Yugo-styled extended handguard with a 3-vent design, and a reinforced frame made from thicker steel to improve durability. The ZPAP designation is an acronym for "Zastava Polu-Automatska Puska" which means "Zastava Semi-Automatic Rifle", and is the commercial sporting model of the firearm. This model features a modern tactical setup with quadrail handguard, MagPul Zhukov folding stock, MOE pistol grip and a western-style flash hider designed to emulate the standard-issue M90 model. The gas block is adjustable for use with a suppressor or low-pressure ammunition. One 30-round magazine is included.
