Details of EDDYSTONE Model of 1917

Eddystone model of 1917 rifle.Believed to be .30-06 caliber, but no caliber marking are on the gun. ***verify caliber with gun smith before firing***. WWI U.S. military rifle, arsenal refurbished post-war. Bot is marked "E". Barrel is marked with a flaming bomb. This rifle has a lot of pitting on the barrel and reciever. I think the stock is original, but it may have been replaced along the way, as there are not many pictures online of this rifle with this stock configuration. The stock has been refinished and laminated. These photos represent the exact firearm for sale. As with many used firearms, this item may contain scratches and/or signs of wear. This is not always the case but should not be unexpected. No original box or other accessories.
