The patent pending spring-steel ferrule ensures the razor sharpness you've come to expect from the award-winning Orion line of broadheads. The Orion's three fixed blades all-metal ferrule and one piece stainless steel ferrule combine to deliver a devastating 1" cut. Upon impact the ferrule and three fixed blades expand to more than double in diameter ensuring a huge wound channel and even more blood trails. This is the broadhead to use when you're hunting a trophy buck and need to make a large wound channel. The Orion-three has a one piece stainless steel ferrule with three stationary blades. One piece three blades knife sharp contoured ferrule and spring-steel ferrule create a deadly swarm of mud leaves and debris in its wake. The Orion-three has a single stainless steel ferrule with multi-pronged in-flight swivel for dependable piercing on hard ground stumps and stumps. These broadheads perform on all types of constrictions from heavy timber to the most extreme long-range exotic hardwoods. All F.A. patented Orion 3 designs are supported at their thickest point at the rear of the flyer's spine. The C3 serrations provide even more razor sharpness and energy transference while the streamlined shape disrupts the air column forcing even more air into the shattered trough. Each razor-cutting blade protrudes 1" from the base of the ferrule. This gives the broadhead enough energy to penetrate a challenging shot while churning out the remaining bone at snout level.
